Wehilani Koki

Da Flying Hawaiian and Da Mongoose
Wehilani Koki
Summary of the book
The book is a novel and is not a children's book. It
is generally a trip through the mind of a Hawaiian gentleman who has
lived most of his life on the islands among the Hawaiian people. Lots of
books are written about Hawaii by non-Hawaiians, the book is written
about Hawaii by a Hawaiian which gives you another outlook on what these
islands mean to the Hawaiian people. It is also about the love of a man
and women but the main theme of the book is how one Hawaiian survives in
today's world and stays connected to his ancestors and traditions. The
book will make you laugh and sometimes cry. Mr. Koki's style is very
different because he writes exactly like he talks.
